Floral designer extraordinaire Barbara Emden will present the program, “A Teacup Full of Flowers.” Members should bring their own teacup and a paring knife for trimming the oasis. Flowers and greens will be provided so everyone can create their own unique design.
District II Horticulture Day will be held on Saturday, February 11, at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Severna Park, from 10-1. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by two wonderful speakers: Alan Summers, Radio Talk Host, WCBM 680 AM in Westminster, who will present a slideshow on gorgeous perennials, and Hans Bleinberger, Designer with McHale Landscape Design, who will discuss container gardening and how to landscape gardens and yards for easy maintenance.
