CROFTON VILLAGE GARDEN CLUB

HISTORY: The club was founded in April 1969 by Dolores Schoeneman, our first president, and these founding members:  Mina Akers, Kathryn Callahan, Lyda Cavanaugh, Bettie Coleman, Sandra Diamond, Audrey Kassatly, Florence Petry, Bernie Robertson, and Bonnie Sauve.  Kathryn Callahan and Bernie Robertson are still active in our club today.

Crofton Village Garden Club has been a
member of District II, Federated Garden
Clubs of Maryland, and National Garden
Clubs, Inc. since its founding.

MOTTO: To promote and preserve the beauty of our community

THEME (2011-2012):  Sharing the Joy of Flowers

MEETINGS: The club meets on the first Wednesday of each month (except July and August) at Prince of Peace Fellowship Hall, 9:30 a.m., unless another location is announced in the club yearbook for a specific program.  Board meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month at the time and place listed in the club yearbook.

MEMBERSHIP: There are currently 56 Active and Associate members
