To stimulate member interest in horticulture, conservation, and flower arranging; and to encourage, by example, pride in our homes and our community.

CVGC will install a Blue Star Memorial Marker in a garden at the Crofton Library to honor all men and women who have served, are serving, or will serve in the Armed Forces of the United States.

CVGC partners with other Crofton organizations to reduce and mitigate storm water damage to creeks, streams, rivers and the Chesapeake Bay - beginning right here in Crofton by diverting rain water run-off from the community to a rain garden rather than the storm drain on Rt. 3.

CVGC assists the library staff with planting, weeding and mulching near the entrance to Crofton Library,
