When I saw this pansy standing proudly above the snow earlier this month, I couldn’t help thinking of Gloria Gaynor’s 1978 hit, “I Will Survive”.

CVGC is partnering with other Crofton organizations to reduce and mitigate storm water damage to creeks, streams, rivers and the Chesapeake Bay - beginning right here in Crofton by diverting rain water run-off from Crawford Blvd. to two streetside rain gardens, rather than the storm drain on Rt. 3, where it now flows.
