"Plant It Pink" is a partnership between National Garden Clubs, Inc.and Susan G. Komen for the Cure to support breast cancer awareness and research.
Crofton Village Garden Club participated in the "Plant It Pink" initiative throughout 2009-2010 by featuring the color pink on our website and in the club's yearbook, as well as in members' floral designs and horticulture exhibits.
"Plant It Pink" was also be the theme and one of the beneficiaries of the Fashion Show and High Tea held May 2, 2010 at Crofton Country Club.
"Golden Days" is a National Garden Clubs project which promotes planting of golden daffodils in public areas.
Earlier this year, Crofton Village Garden Club provided daffodil bulbs to the Crofton Library for planting near the building entrance.
We invite members of our community to nominate a public building or community entrance for future Golden Days projects.
